As I mentioned in my first post, I'm still new to Final Cut Server. As we work on implementing the product completely at work, I have LOTS of questions, so in this post, I'm soliciting advice. Does anyone have a good process for bringing previously completed Final Cut projects into Final Cut Server? Anyone?
Here's my current theory of how this might work.
1. Create a metadata field (checkbox) called "Logged". This field will be assigned to all media assets.
2. Create a saved search that looks for all assets that do not have the "Logged" box checked.
3. Drag an FCP file into FCSrv and let it load all the related media.
4. Run the saved search. This should bring up all media files related to the project.
5. Proceed to log the media, checking the box when complete.
My process seems tedious, but I'm thinking it's the best way to make sure everything gets logged. Otherwise, what's the point of having in FCSrv, if you've got no logging info to search through?
You guys got any advice?

Welcome
I'm a new Final Cut Server (FCSrv) user (aren't we all?), and I thought that this might be a good way to discuss my experience and get feedback from the rest of the FCSrv community. So that's the introduction. Happy Asset Managing!
